First Busey Corporation is proud to support charitable organizations working to strengthen the communities we serve. By bridging the needs of our communities with Busey’s financial resources, we improve the quality of life for our customers, associates and area citizens.
First Busey Corporation and its subsidiaries adhere to the following guidelines when considering charitable contributions:
- Charitable contributions must be designated specifically to qualify for 501(c)3 organizations.
- Contributions will be targeted to broad-based community service programs with emphasis on youth, community development, health/wellness, education, diversity and the arts.
- Gifts to social clubs, private institutions and religious organizations are strongly discouraged.
- Political and contributions to individuals are strictly prohibited.
- Contributions will be directed towards constituencies in the local markets and communities we serve.
