With nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry, Christy supports her clients throughout the loan process, getting to know their specific financial needs to ensure they have the best mortgage product for them.

A large financial transaction understandably brings extra stress. During my initial conversations with clients, I start to build key relationships and get to know them on a personal level. This leads to an understanding of what they may or may not know about the loan process. For me, this is about building relationships—it’s not just a transaction. Being able to adjust and meet clients where they are helps to ease stress, leaving them comfortable to ask questions or bounce ideas off me during the process.

By closely listening to them, it helps them understand that they truly are important and being provided with a product that is suited to their needs. No matters what chapter of life they are in, they’ll be able to start making beautiful memories with confidence in their decision.

 

I also enjoy helping others in my community outside of the office and am involved with numerous organizations in the Joliet region. I strongly believe in giving back through volunteerism and have been involved with organizations like the Northern Illinois food pantry, Feed My Starving Children and RichNDeed to name a few.

As a banking professional, I have had the opportunity to visit with local groups to discuss topics related to financial responsibility, including building or repairing credit and budgeting, and taught financial courses at Steppingstones. In addition, I’m an advocate for mental health and supporting those in need in different ways. Currently, I’m a member of the Health Advisory Board for Will/Grundy NAMI, as well as a volunteer and trainer with First H.E.L.P.
