Steve was raised on a grain and livestock farm in Western Illinois and graduated from Illinois State University in 1986. He is a monthly columnist for Prairie Farmer Magazine in the Profit Planners section and has served on numerous boards, including the ISU Ag Alumni, Illinois Certified Crop Adviser Board and Monsanto's Farm Manager Council. Steve was honored by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) with the 2008 Professional Farm Manager of the Year award and received the Outstanding Conservationist Award in 2011 from the McLean County Chamber of Commerce. Steve is a farm owner and landlord who remains active in on-farm research programs. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer with Busey Farm Brokerage.

Mark joined Busey Ag Services in 2024 and manages farm ground for landowners, whether on a crop share or cash lease agreement with a grower. He also works with the grower to adequately farm the land and meet the landowner’s expectations.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Services and Development with an emphasis in Agricultural Communications and a minor in Communications from Tarleton State University.

Jacob Quaid

Jacob, a Farm Manager, serves customers from our LeRoy office and his professional experience includes grain marketing and crop insurance decisions. A licensed real estate broker, he grew up on a family farm south of LeRoy and graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness.

Before joining Busey in 2020, he was a farm business management specialist for Illinois FBFM. Jacob strives to provide the best guidance and customer service to his clients—helping them get the proper return out of their farmland is what drives him to be the best that he can be. He enjoys communicating with both current and future clients about how to serve their needs. Jacob serves McLean county, as well as several other counties in Northern Illinois and Iowa.

Jacob is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, and the McLean County Farm Bureau.

Keith joined Busey Ag Services in 2023 and brings with him 30-plus years of farming experience. He owns and operates a grain and forage operation in East Central Illinois and is involved in family farming across three Illinois counties. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

A Rossville, IL, native, Eric spent 33 years working in Agriculture Research prior to joining Busey Ag Services in 2021. As a Farm Manager, he provides landowners with maximum income potential and helps preserve the value of their property.

For over 30 years, Eric has served as a Trustee for the Rossville Area Fire Protection District and is a Trustee for the Rossville Scholarship Fund. For more than 15 years, he has been a volunteer scorekeeper for the NJCAA Men’s DII Basketball Tournament. Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Illinois University.

Cameron is a Farm Manager and licensed real estate broker serving clients from our Decatur, IL, office. He grew up Heyworth, IL, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Illinois State University. Prior to joining Busey, he worked in precision agriculture for a local co-op, using modern technology to help farmers increase yields.

In his role, Cameron is responsible for negotiating leases with farm tenants, scouting crop conditions and marketing harvested crops in both the Central and Southern Illinois regions. A team player who puts results first, he is driven by a commitment to building strong relationships and maximizing his clients’ return on investment.

Cameron is also a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

Since joining Busey in 2022, Alexis has shared her passion for the animal agriculture industry and the agricultural sector as a whole with clients. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Master of Science in Agricultural Production, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Alexis is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, and raises Simmental cattle in Western Illinois.

With agriculture ever-changing, Riley provides clients with the support and guidance needed to best protect their valuable investments. Her passion for the industry started as she grew up showing cattle and hogs in 4-H and was involved with her family’s small cow/calf operation.

By sharing her passion for agriculture, Riley hopes to help preserve the land for current generations and those to come. She is a graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and Leadership, and earned her Associate of Art from Illinois Central College.

Prior to joining Busey in 2023, Riley was a Marketing Specialist for Illinois Farm Bureau and an Agronomy Product and Marketing Specialist for a local Ag retail company. She is a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, DeWitt County Farm Bureau and DeWitt County Young Leaders. Riley is also involved with multiple beef show committees across McLean, Macon and DeWitt counties, as a McLean County Beef Superintendent, Illinois Beef Expo Sales and Marketing Director, and a member of the Prairie Beef Board.

Corey Zelhart

Corey was raised just north of Decatur on his family's grain farm. His professional experience includes soybean research and helping tenants select seed varieties best suited to the land. Corey graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2007, and earned a Master of Science in Agriculture in 2011.
