Best Banks to Work For 2023

Busey is honored to be consistently recognized among the Best Banks to Work For by American Banker magazine and Best Companies Group since 2016. The program—which was established in 2013—identifies, recognizes and honors the best banks to work for in the nation. Busey is among seven organizations with over $12 billion in assets and one of only four banks headquartered in Illinois to make the list.

To determine the Best Banks to Work For, ranking relies on two sources of intel. The first is an employee survey that measures different areas of workplace satisfaction, such as views on overall engagement, training and development and work environment. The second part is a review of each employers' policies and benefits. 95% of employees at ranked banks said they were satisfied overall with their employer, compared with 89% for the institutions not on the list.

Earlier this year, for the eighth consecutive time Busey was named among the Best Places to Work in Illinois by Best Companies Group and the Daily Herald Business Ledger, and has been named among the Best Companies to Work For in Florida by Best Companies Group and Florida Trend Magazine since 2017.
