Busey Named Among America’s Best Banks 2023

Busey is honored to be named among America’s Best Banks by Forbes for the second consecutive year. Ranked 26th overall, compared to 52nd in last year’s rankings, First Busey was once again the top ranked bank headquartered in Illinois. Only two other banks in the state were included on this year’s list.

Forbes’ 14th annual America’s Best Banks list looks at growth, credit quality and profitability to rank the 100 largest (by assets) publicly-traded banks and thrifts from best to worst. The metrics that are used to make the rankings are based on regulatory filings current through September 30, 2022. While S&P provides the data, the rankings are done by Forbes.

In addition to being among America’s Best Banks, Busey is also honored to be recognized in Illinois and Indiana as a Best Place to Work and in Florida among the Best Companies to Work For. In addition, Busey was recognized as a Best Banks to Work For in the U.S. by American Banker and Busey Wealth Management has been named among Pensions & Investment’s Best Places to Work in Money Management.
